This is Team 280's thirteenth year competing with FIRST and throughout those years we have needed much help.  Unfortunately, most teams are reluctant to offer help during the build season because they are busy themselves.  We have always found the Chief Delphi forums to be extremely helpful as there are many teams that constantly check the various topics to offer their assistance. FIRST also hosts a very thorough forum utilizing a question and answer system.

The FIRST 2012 Competition manual is also a very useful resource. it can be found at FIRST's Official website. Every team should have a minimum of two complete copies floating around amongst the various subgroups of their team.  It is also helpful to check and double check the FIRST website for any updates regarding the competition manual.

At times, your kit may have missing parts and the best way to go about reordering them is through FIRST's Team Information Management System re-ordering page.  Also, for parts and controls information visit AndyMark.

For those of you wanting to go on to University, check out the various scholarships FIRST offers

If you are a team in need of financial assistance, FIRST offers up to 200 $1,000 grants to teams to offset registration fees.  Remember, your team can only go to one regional and NOT nationals.  However, if your team is one of the lucky ones who win at a Regional and therefore secures a spot at Nationals, the grant is not invalidated!
